Core product

EasyTop™: 19 two-person compartments, 38 sleeping berths and 56 seats in daytime mode

A product concept for night and long-distance rail services, focused on privacy, comfort and rational use of the railcar’s internal envelope.

2

Two spatial levels

Seating, sleeping, luggage and access functions are organised as one modular system.

56

Daytime mode

The configuration provides 56 passenger seats for daytime services.

1:1

Scenario exploration

A full-scale exploratory mock-up has been used to study boarding, movement, rest and luggage scenarios.

CFD

Engineering analysis base

CFD airflow modelling and thermal-field calculations have been completed for cold and hot operating conditions.

Next stage

A functional demonstrator, engineering detailing and independent conformity assessment.

Path to application

Vectis develops EasyTop™ independently — the operator reviews a validated result

Vectis organises engineering development, partner engagement, creation of a functional demonstrator and independent conformity assessment. A rail operator may review the concept, confirm its interest and, after safety and operational suitability have been documented, consider potential application of the solution.

Introduction

The EasyTop™ concept and its potential value for passenger rail services.

Operator interest

A short memorandum confirming interest and intent for further consideration.

Demonstrator

A full-scale functional unit created by Vectis with selected partners.

Conformity assessment

Technical documentation, testing and independent conformity assessment.

Application review

Assessment of validated characteristics for new or modernised railcars.

The group

Clear separation of control, delivery and international expertise

The founders form the control layer. The operating company is responsible for EasyTop delivery in Ukraine. External partners can enter at project level without transferring control of the core IP and strategy.
